Free Site Survey Service
SPIRAC Engineers, experienced in all aspects of materials handling for difficult materials, are available to visit sites free of charge for an initial consultation and evaluation of possibilities. In many cases, proposals are supported by full CAD design, allowing customers to select the optimum arrangement regards operation and maintenance.

Free SPIRAC Plant Process Optimisation Service
SPIRAC equipment has been installed in the UK for over 20 years, with many installations over 15 years still actively in beneficial operation. To confirm our company`s commitment to our UK and Ireland customers we offer a free Process Optimisation Visit at a time which is convenient. Your SPIRAC plant will be inspected to check for wear, the process will be investigated to identify possible improvements and if possible at the time, these changes will be completed by our trained and certified engineers. We will also discuss operation and any requirements of site staff that are available at the time. Finally, work completed and recommendations will be sent through to the customer in the form of a report.

SPIRAC reach 100 Megawasher Dewaterers. SPIRAC have recently delivered and installed their 100th Megwasher Dewaterer for sewage screenings processing in the UK. With the first installed in 1992 and still operational, the unit offers exceptional reliability and durability. Key benefits include high processing quality as regards BOD removal, final dry solids content and volume reduction. Megawasher accepts heavily grit laden screenings and has been installed in place of many impellor style systems which sufferred high wear rates.

It is a compact unit, using low power and when operated with its unique control system offers low running time and wear allied with immediate availability when screenings volume require it.

SPIRAC selected at Severn Trent Water`s Rugby, Loughborough and Coleshill STW`s
As part of SPIRAC`s obligation as sole Framework supplier of screenings handling equipment to Severn Trent Water - which has seen over 40 Megawasher Dewaterer systems selected and installed over the past 3 years, SPIRAC are currently working on these large prestigious sites. The systems being supplied will offer high degrees of process reliability and have automatic bypassing facilities built in as standard in many cases. Screenings quality meets latest industry standards regards cleanliness and dryness. One key benefit is the units ability to handle grit laden screenings without the need for regular maintenance -reducing operators time spent in this difficult area.

SPIRAC installed at Thames Water Slough STW
SPIRAC shaftless screw conveyors and Megawasher Dewaterers have been selected at Thames Waters` Slough STW. The equipment has been installed in the inlet works to accept, convey, wash, dewater and compact sewage screenings. The equipment is now in operation and is providing high reliability to what was a high maintenance area of operations.
