Pretreatment Success Story at the Glenelg WWTP

The Glenelg Wastewater Treatment Plant in South Australia was originally built in 1932 with a number of subsequent capacity upgrades to accommodate increasing demand. This treatment plant is part of the key infrastructure required to provide a reliable and secure wastewater service to the southwest region of metropolitan Adelaide. The plant receives sewage from a drainage area of over 9,200 hectares and is designed for annual average flows of 60 megalitres per day and serves an equivalent population in excess of 200,000 people.

SPIRAC was asked to design, manufacture and install equipment at the Veviba abattoir in Belgium to be able to increase their capacity to 200 cows per day and to reduce costs. The expansion of the plant had to be completed within 6 weeks.

SPIRAC har levererat utrustning till teknikföretaget Goodtech (slut kund SYSAV i Malmö ). SYSAV behandlar källsorterat matavfall och livsmedelsavfall i en förbehandlingsanläggning. Den producerade ”slurryn” som innehåller organisktmaterial, ska behandlas biologiskt i en biogasanläggning för produktion av biogas och biogödsel.

Det förbättrade dränerings sektionen ger avancerad komprimering och avvattning på grund av en starkare skruv och en förbättrad korg. Den innovativa metoden bygger upp mer tryck och därmed ökar avvattningen. Bättre tvättgrad än de konkurerande produkterna, (ca. 80 -90%) även vid hög sand och fettbelastningar, gör SPIROWASH® mycket tillförlitlig under drift.

Achilles UVDB Verify Category B1 Certification accreditation for SPIRAC Ltd

SPIRAC is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an Achilles UVDB Verify Category B1 accreditation.
 
The certificate allows us to pre-qualify as an approved supplier within the wastewater sector - a process that makes it easier for companies an waste water authorities in the sector to manage their supply chain risks and to comply with EU procurement regulations.
