Shaftless spiral conveyors were installed to transport cooked and uncooked offal and dried blood through various process stages of this rendering plant.
The shaftless conveyors have no hanger bearings to create hangups and maintenance issues and have no shafts for stringy or sticky materials to wrap around or build up on. Low RPM and high torque ensure that any lumps or potential blockages are easily cleared through brute force. Tight lid seals and fully gasketed joins ensure containment of any liquids or odours. Steeply inclined or vertical conveyors allow for difficult geometries, small footprints and high lift.
