Shaftless screw conveyors from SPIRAC are well suited to various processes within the wine or food and beverage industries.

With special spiral outserts, shaftless spiral screws provide the gentlest possible handling of grapes from receival bins. Shafted screws tend to force the grapes through a small opening, the shaftless screw has no change in cross section to create such a pinch point, so grapes pass through very gently. Our conveyors and screening systems are also well suited to various byproduct or waste streams.

Shaftless Spiral Slewing Conveyor Maximises Sludge Outloading Flexibility

SPIRAC has manufactured a 12-metre shaftless spiral slewing conveyor designed to provide a flexible solution for sludge outloading. The design incorporates a single pivot point at the inlet, allowing the entire conveyor to slew across a wide operating arc and discharge sludge over a large area.
