MULTIGUARD™ is a robust coarse screening solution designed to remove high volumes of bulky solids from municipal and industrial wastewater. As the first stage of treatment, it protects downstream equipment and improves overall plant performance.
MULTIGUARD™ features vertical screen bars with either rectangular or tapered profiles and bar spacing tailored to application requirements. Available in stainless steel or carbon steel construction, the screen incorporates solid debris plates that guide screenings efficiently to the discharge point.
The cleaning system uses multiple comb plates mounted on carrier beams connected to dual chain assemblies. The chains are easily tensioned, and routine maintenance can be performed at deck level, reducing downtime and simplifying service activities. A wear-resistant bottom guide track eliminates the need for submerged sprockets and bearings within the wastewater flow.
Screenings are removed from the comb plates by a pivoting wiper fitted with a durable UHMWPE wear blade. Weatherproof drives and hazardous-area-rated drive options are available to suit site requirements.
Screens are available in widths up to 4 m (13 ft) and are suitable for channel depths of up to 12 m (39 ft).
