Hardy Wine Company’s Berri Estates Winery is located in South Australia’s Riverland region. With a 2005 crush of 209,000 tonnes, it is the largest winery in the Southern Hemisphere.
Major expansions over the last decade have seen the production facility utilising the best available technology to produce the finest possible wines. SPIRAC receival bins and conveyors have been chosen as an important part of this technology.
Hardy Wine contracted with SPIRAC to supply 2 x 30m3 grape receival bins for their Berri Estates 2004 vintage. SPIRAC bins were chosen primarily for the shaftless spiral design, strength, durability and fabrication quality. Bins in fabrication in the Perth factory.
