The Bergen Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, Suffolk County, NY, USA

The Challenge

SPIRAC was asked to manufacture and install eight spiral shaftless conveyors at the Bergen Point Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Suffolk County, NY. Totalling over 300 ft. in shaftless conveyors that had to be able to handle the plants sludge capacity of 1250 ft3/hr.
SPIRACs engineers had an uncompromising commitment to develop and manufacture a leading inlet works solution within time and budget, allowing us to develop a sustainable plant for the future
