WEFTEC 2023 proved to be an outstanding exhibition, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our visitors. We were delighted to showcase our demo units, allowing attendees to witness the innovative solutions we have to offer. Additionally, we provided a captivating virtual reality experience centered around wastewater treatment plant, offering a unique and informative perspective.
A pre-fabricated treatment plant package, constructed offsite, has enabled a water company in northern England to implement much-needed improvements to its inlet works while keeping its carbon footprint to a minimum.
Come and experience a virtual tour of a sewage treatment plant. As an added incentive, you'll have the chance to enter a draw to win a $100 Amazon voucher. We look forward to seeing you there!
When it comes to selecting a suitable outloading method for a sludge silo, there are two primary options to consider: Sliding-Frame and Live-Bottom. Each method has its distinct features and advantages, and the choice depends on the specific requirements of your material handling system. Let's delve into the characteristics of these two options:
A sliding frame outloading system is an advanced extraction mechanism designed to discharge non-free flowing materials from a flat bottom silo or receival bunker. These materials tend to form a bridge, obstructing the discharge at the silo floor. To overcome this challenge, the hydraulically driven sliding frame comes into action.
Our Service team installed, tested and commissioned a new SPIROWASH SW280 unit, replacing an existing competitor unit at the Glenfield WWTP.
It is important to understand the variations in silo outloading technology, and which system is right for each type of facility. The most significant difference lies in the outloading methods for non-free-flowing materials, with sliding-frame silos and live-bottom silos being the two main and distinct outloading options for this kind of material.
