SPIRAC was asked to provide a prefabricated package treatment plant. The plant is built on a galvanised steel support structure elevated approximately 5m above ground level, to enable flows to gravitate through downstream process units.
When the decision was made to upgrade this Wastewater Treatment Plant, a containment and road transport solution for screenings and grit was needed. SPIRAC was asked to manufacture three 10m3 SPIROTAINER®. Two SPIROTAINER® are used for screenings and one for grit.
Our GUARD screen product range is now available worldwide. The screening process involves the removal of large and small non-biodegradable solids that enter a wastewater treatment plant.
